The old him would have loved all these pretty flowers! But the old him was tortured! He was crying and laughing at the same time as he tore up handfuls of roses, flinging them about, dirt and bits of green raining down on him.

Raistlin rather liked the gardens, so was furious when he saw the man tearing them apart like a madman.

"Stop that at once!" the white robed mage snapped, grabbing for the man's wrist to try and stop him before he pulled apart another handful of roses.

"DO NOT TOUCH THE DRAGON!" Viserys shrieked at the top of his lungs, flinging a handful of dirt at the man's face.

Raistlin yelled and jerked away from the madman, blinking rapidly and trying to wipe the dirt out of his eyes. Though his eyes were still tearing up, he bent down and picked up a handful of fallen rose petals. He began to chant and, after a few seconds, threw the rose petals at the man's eyes. The spell was meant to make the man fall asleep, however, due to the effects of the Barge, it would only make him feel slightly drained for a short amount of time.

Chanting! Sorcery! Visions of Snape pointing a twig at him and saying that one little word that made everything hurt all over. He growled and bared his teeth. Before he could pounce or bolt or whatever he would have done, the rose petals hit him in the eyes. He blinked and swiped at them, trying to clear his vision.

His eyes were watering, and he felt very tired. He yawned and gave his head a shake.

"Now stay calm, unless you want to be turned into a toad."

It was an empty threat, something he could have never done even if he'd wanted to, but he hoped it would keep this man from lashing out again once his weakened spell wore off.

He opened his mouth to protest but quickly pouted instead. He folded his arms across his chest and sulked.

The dragon was no toad. Maybe if he sat here long enough, this twit would leave him be.

The sulking was childish, but tolerable. Satisfied, Raistlin headed back over to where he was before. He'd leave the madman alone as long as he didn't cause any more trouble.

Viserys shot dagger-glares at Raistlin as he walked away. He didn't want to be bothered with sorcery, so after throwing more dirt around, just to show that he wasn't going to be totally put in his place, he scampered out of the gardens.

He still liked flowers, but he wouldn't tell anyone.

Raistlin shook his head and let the man go, and went back to looking at one of the more fascinating plants that he didn't recognize.
