When: After getting his ass beat by a child
Warnings: References to violence? Use of painkillers. Uhhh, that's should be it.
Rex had only been dimly aware of David's departure, and he was drifting in and out of consciousness by the time T-X found him. At first, there was a weak sort of panic, as he wasn't fully capable of separating her from the beating he'd just endured, but after a moment, he relaxed and allowed the cyborg to take him where she chose.
Thankfully, she chose the infirmary.
And now, here he was, a day later and far more coherent (sometimes. Depending on how recently he'd taken his painkillers), his ribs cracked with nothing he could do about it, his right forearm and wrist in a cast (of course it had to be his dominant hand, and of COURSE it might require surgery), his face bruised and his jaw somewhat swollen from the fracture. At least the fracture was only minor, so no wiring was required, but it still hurt to speak or even suck down his stupid liquid meals through his stupid straw. Oh, and vomiting up all that blood he'd swallowed? Hurt entirely too much and only compounded a terrible situation.
Also: breathing. It was such a painful endeavor, thanks to his ribs, that it called to mind all the problems he'd had breathing before.
Rex hated everything.
