Who: Victor and Eddie Russett.
What: A magical trip to the CES to ease Victor's discomfort about what is happening on the barge, that is sadly fraught with bad luck.
When: Today.
Where: Eddie's cabin and then in the CES.
Warnings: None so far.
Victor wasn't accustomed to seeking his warden out in person. While he hadn't quite avoided Eddie's company, he'd never been one to seek it out without first providing some warning over the journal system. This was further compounded by the fact that he hadn't thought the best of his warden lately, who seemed far too cunning and manipulative for Victor's liking. Besides, barging in on others was rude. It was more or less the only thing that stopped Victor from entering Eddie's room outright and demanding that they go to the CES, that they get off the barge.
Victor paused at the door before knocking, taking a second to catch his breathe. He looked down at his sleeve, where he could see some blood from his work in the infirmary. It turned his stomach. Not due to the blood itself, which was a gory sight that Victor was very used to. It was the fact that it was Sveta who caused it. Sveta, who had always seemed so kind, was the cause of the filled infirmary. It was nightmarish to work there, and despite the need for infirmary staff at present, he desired nothing else more than a few hours on the barge. That, at least, was something that his somewhat untrustworthy warden could provide.
"Mr Russett." Victor said, knocking heavily on the door. "Mr Russett, I require your company."
