[You may have seen Vanessa around the Barge over the last month or so, but more than likely she would have kept her distance and seemed rather quiet, possibly shy. If cornered and pressed, she would have said her name was Hope and tried to get away without talking much more. She sounds much different in person than on the communicators (and has avoided making video posts pretty much for this reason.)
For the sake of disguise and everyone's eyes, in public she has been (and is today) wearing plain, modest ankle-length grayish dresses.]
