Brax earned a grin, as he always did, and she nodded. "I've finished my book, so I've decided that I needed to find something new. So far new things are being a bit evasive. Got any recommendations?"
"I haven't. I'm going to need to give it a try though, if you think I'd like it." Martha smiled to him and then started to look for it on a nearby shelf.
"How are you doing, Brax? It seems like ages since I've seen you."
Martha plucked the book from the shelf, and she held it against her chest. She would take it out on his recommendation.
"I am exceptionally well, Brax, thank you." And she was. It had been on the tip of her tongue to correct him with the name, but she remembered the bet at the last moment.
