[Rex just got Tallahassee's letter about ~Wichita~

So he's brooding like a man in the common room. Watching Anaconda. Idk how he got it after he broke the last disc... Let's say the TARDIS gave it to him.]

[Trip has been summoned through the power of movies. He doesn't actually recognize Rex - although he's vaguely aware that he looks like Arthur - and goes with the new inmate he doesn't know yet theory as he comes over to investigate what movie's playing.]

That's kinda what makes it fun though. [Trip loves horrible horror movies. Also good horror movies. But his standards aren't fantastic.]

'Fun' isn't the word I'd use... [That bit's muttered. Rex shifts on the couch a little and shoves the postcard (which was once torn up and now taped back together) into his jacket pocket.]

[Trip notices the stowing away of the postcard but doesn't comment on it. He's nosy, but not really that much, especially not with someone he doesn't think he knows, and sits down next to him, ensuring a decent amount of space between the two.]

So, how long you been here? [Meaning on the Barge, but feel free to think he means in the common room or something.]
