Who: Will Graham & Dracula
What: A hungry vampire needs a drink.
Where: Hallways, eventually Kitchen.
When: Night time; after
this.
Before leaving his cabin, as he did now, Will made sure he had the laser gun Trip had given him at his side. He took the elevator. As he made his way to the eighth floor, he wondered why he wasn't more afraid. Vampires were scary. Human monsters without a soul, feasting on healthy mortals. The Barge had several of them in a variety. Dracula would be the worst of the lot.
Maybe he was desensitized to fear. Maybe the shock hadn't settled in yet. One could say they're going to meet Dracula, but the mind could reject the reality until it actually happened. Brains were a tricky thing like that.
The elevator beeped pleasantly, signifying his arrival, and opened. He stepped out into the hallway. He was calm, emotions controlled. His heartbeat was steady. He really wasn't sure what to expect. Maybe that's why he had come down here. He hadn't helped the vampires before, so why start now?
Will knocked at the door and waited. He had taken a step back from it without realizing it.
