Chang was not happy. He didn't make a post on the network praising his new abilities, he didn't so much as smile. His eyes, were you able to get close enough to look at him, were filled with a helpless fury. He did not want. Not even slightly.

A powerful body never got him anything, it counted against him. A sign of his taint and now he was tainted still further. He couldn't control himself. He had to obey the command. Destroy all.

And one of those marked was K. Chang raged still further but could do nothing but advance, sparking, at least that would alert him.

The sparking was a big damn clue in that his sparring buddy, the angry warrior wasn't himself.

He held up his good hand, backing off a few steps. "Chang, are you in there? You gotta resist this." A possibly futile effort but he didn't want to fight him. Not like this.

Chang is no keen to start this fight either, particular with this kind of advantage. There was no honour from it, there would be no honour.

Incidents like this wasn't unheard of from the IKF, and they recommended focusing on little things. His eye. If he could close it…

A spark flew from his hands towards K and his hands turned green with flames, ready to hit him with them.

That hurt like a son of a bitch! Not the spark. He managed to dodge that, but right into one of those fucking green fisted hands what the fucking hell was that even? Pain radiated up his side and he was sure something else was broken. On top of the bruises a hyper-endowed Time Lord could leave.

Fuck this. "I know it's not you!" He struggled between movements, between breaths. Because Chang needed to know that.

He brought up his knee to both kick Chang in the gut and shove himself backward. This would, if successful, land him back on the stairs and on those uncomfortable corners but he damn well didn't want to be in the man's grip.
