The Grocery Store [Agents] most_feared February 25 2011, 23:44:53 UTC
Regardless of whether they were inmates or not, Kay needed his men armed. Thankfully there was one man in the back, standing alone under an "exit" sign. Pacing idly, as if bored despite the fact his comrades had gunned a man in front of the establishment minutes earlier. And much to Kay's relief, appeared to be well armed (on odd thing to be relieved about).

Kay put down his pack and checked the ammunition for his gun, and made a motion for the two younger men to stay back. With the way that the man was pacing, it was just regular enough that Kay could make a quiet dash, get up close and the moment that he turned to make his next round, he would run right into a serious agent punching him in the throat with the side of his hand so that he couldn't scream. Couldn't even go for his gun because he had to reach and hold his throat as if it would help his airway to stop it from swelling.

Just in time for Kay to grasp either side of his head and snap his neck.

He came back a moment later, a knife shoved into his boot, a rifle slung over his shoulder, and holding out two pistols (including the one that he'd been given at the Vault) for his men to take. "No torture, no unnecessary kills, no children." He wasn't about to suggest that a woman couldn't be damn dangerous. He'd dated the type that was. "Make it clean so we don't bust something we might need."

Finally. Cooper took the handgun, looking it over, checking the ammo, feeling its weight. It wasn't what he was used to, but it was usable, and that was all that mattered at this point. He'd seen enough shit to know that he did not like this port any more than he'd liked Christmas in Germany. Or Bavaria. Or wherever the fuck they'd been. He nodded at Kay's orders, because they were standard; he was going to do what was necessary and nothing more.

Besides, he couldn't imagine finding kids in there. This was a hell of a place for kids to grow up.

Assuming they hadn't turned into mutants.

He was ready to get back to the Barge.

"You sure Nygma isn't going to get himself killed out front?" He didn't sound too disappointed with the idea.

Wash waited beside Cooper, waiting for any opporunity to finally get something done. The sight of the two pistols made him inhale slowly with relief. He could finally take out those numnuts running the other guns. He mimicked Cooper unintentionally, checking how much ammo there was in the clip, the firing mechanism, and cocked it almost immediately. It was smooth for an antique.

Still, he was in agent mode and replied curtly, "Roger that."

Not that he would necessarily follow that. He preferred this environment to the prison-like structure of the Barge.

Sadly, if either one of them shot their own (no matter how tempting that it might be), Kay would probably remove the additional threat from the picture. Cooper, he trusted to know better... to some extent. Eddie was trying. Wash he didn't know that well, and was planning to keep an eye on him.

"One of you needs to hold the back. Narvin's out front and he's going to pick them off as they come out. He won't miss. Superhuman eyes. Nygma's there to draw attention away from us." That was Eddie's best use in this scenario.

He unstrapped the hunting rifle and headed for that back door, keeping a careful eye out for any lurkers.

Cooper glanced between the two of them, cocking his gun and turning to take another look at the area. He didn't trust Wash to take the rear; he trusted Kay to do it, but barely. So Cooper locked his jaw. "And you're going in, is that right?" He exhaled through his nose, and took up a spot near the door.

"I'll make sure no one gets in." He'd rather go help pick them off, but a mission could go south without rear support.

Wash frowned over at Cooper for taking the back, as he didn't trust the other agent to not shoot him in the back. Not in the slightest. Having anyone stand behind him was a trial.

"I don't think so," his expression darkened. "I'll take the back."

He didn't need another South, or another nearly severed spine.
