"Hey," Drake greeted, setting his tray down in front of the stranger. Drake's arm was still in a cast, but the rest of his attire was stylish as usual, with his four inch heeled boots, leather pants, and a sleeveless shirt and vest as well as a leather glove on his hand that was not encumbered by the cast.

"I like your style." He was big on the dramatic warrior of darkness look, after all. "Who are you?"

Elric didn't really bat an eye at the young man's appearance-his own attire was considered outlandish in his native world, after all, borrowing as he did this and that from various lands of the Young Kingdoms. The rude interrogative did get a raised eyebrow, however, as well as a certain coolness to Elric's tone.

"I am Elric of Melniboné. And you, young man?"

Drake was clearly not put off by the icy tone, as his cheerful demeanor continued. "Drake Stone. Are you new here? I've never seen you around."

He'd remember someone that looked that much like Arthas.

Elric smirked a little in recognition of the young man's name. "Ah, Master Stone. You are the one who thought that my ill-earned sobriquets were 'cool', were you not?"

"That's me! So you're the one with all the names, then? You look like a stealer of souls. I think it's the hair. It's nice hair."

By Arioch, he was an even bigger fool in person.

Elric stared, momentarily at an uncharacteristic loss for words-the hair?-and then said, "I fail to see the correlation between one's hair and one's doom."

"I've never seen anyone with hair that looked that good who wasn't just a little bit evil."

Elric's face was quite expressionless for a moment, and then he burst out laughing.

"Is that so? Well, young man, that is certainly a novel means by which to judge character."

"I'm not really judging character by it, I'm just saying stuff. I do like your hair, though."

Elric smirked. "Well. I suppose I am flattered."

"You should be. You know, I had my soul stolen once, but it came back."

Elric put down his fork and stared at Drake, genuinely curious now. "That should not be possible."

"Barge magic. Basically if someone takes your soul on the Barge, it comes back to you in a few days."

"Ridiculous." He picked up his fork and began eating his breakfast again. "Not even the Lords of Chaos can restore a soul thus."

"And not too many people can bring back dead people, either, but that happens all over the place here."
