Elle was pretty sure that Howie would consider what she was about to do wrong, but she didn't care. You couldn't take getting killed lying down. And since Howie refused to handle the situation himself, she was going to handle it for him. She was going to make certain that John never hurt Howie again.
She been holding onto a lot of anger for the past week, but she knew she had to keep it under control or she might accidentally kill John, which she didn't want to do. Aside from Howie saying that death would make John feel like a martyr or something, Elle didn't want him to have all the pain she was about to cause him erased by the death toll.
After a glance down the hallway to make sure no one was coming, Elle knocked on John's door.
