In the meantime, coffee and writing some sort of information down in his notepad. Only the words definitely aren't in any language from Earth.]

Only now he's kind of stalking the infirmary wondering what the fuck he's doing and who he should be talking to. Whether he should be talking things over with Howie or just fucking let it go, because he's part of the normal world and Kay isn't, or if he should try to see what exactly happened to that cop his first ten minutes here. Or if he should be talking to anyone at all. He lingers by the door for a bit, pondering seeking someone out, and also contemplating heading back into the halls to make rounds.]

Elphaba, who was currently working as a nurse in the infirmary, had noticed Kay lurking by the doorway for a while now, which seemed to be rather odd behavior.

It was rather odd behavior. He took in a tight breath and tucked his hands in his pockets. He could just ask her maybe. "How are the death toll victims doing? Do you know?"

Besides, now he has to talk to Cooper about those files he'd given him. He's read the already himself (he read them before passing them along to Cooper) and he hopes like hell mentioning some things will put everything in perspective.]

So for want of anything better to do, he'd just sort of been pacing around the Barge, trying to find stuff to distract himself with. Now, on deck in the evening, he was still just as frustrated as he'd been earlier in the day, but at the sight of a familiar face, he immediately headed over, coming to stand next to Kay at the railing and following his gaze out over the edge of the Barge.] See anything fun out there?

Possibility for a lotta fun. Nothing I recognize, though. There's a lotta these stars that could host any number of telluric planets capable of supporting life. [He folded his hands together.]
Rough week, huh?

At the mention of the week itself, the vigilante considered lying about it, brushing it off like everything was fine, what are you talking about, rough week, this was cake, but eventually just let out a soft chuckle of agreement.]
Yeah, definitely a rough one. Glad it's over. [Not that that really meant anything here. Things would continue on the way they had been probably indefinitely, and just because these problems would be behind them didn't mean there weren't more to come and be had.]

Well, a man can't be all work and no entertainment.]

I see I am not the only one searching for something a bit more stimulating than staring at a wall.
[Or a door, in her case.]

[He comes over toward her and extends a hand.] Sylvanas, right? I'm "K".

[She doesn't trust K in the least. He's one of the wardens. He's an enemy - of a sort. But he might be useful. She stares at the end for a moment, almost like it was some sort of rather disgusting insect, and then dips her head in the slightest of nods.]
Lady Sylvanas, yes.
