What: Fire control, first on the scene

Warnings: Fire, some serious upset
There hadn’t been more then a few seconds between the second that Nicki understood what was happening on Arthas’ video, and the door to Zero being attacked. Nicki was there before anyone else, he had the superhuman speed, and the reason to be there.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t get in. For all the pounding and screaming, and clawing at the hinges with desperate fingers until they were bloody, the door wouldn’t budge. He could hear the flames cracking on the other side, he didn't know whether it was it was coming from his ears or memories.
This just wasn’t happening. Not fire, it couldn’t end in fire. The image of the lighter hurt more then any death he’d suffered the last few weeks. The longer he stood there, the more he could feel his own skin remembering the melting and cracking. God, and Drake was trapped helpless in the other cell. He tried to press himself as close to the door as he could to scream down to Drake, but heard nothing.
