Elle was, once again, attempting to run away. What she hadn't realized was how bad the snow would get as soon as she was outside the town. But regardless of the weather, she tugged her hat down over her ears, wrapped her arms around herself, and kept walking.
After a few moments, she glanced back in the direction she was pretty sure was the town and spotted someone following her. Of course, it had to be Howie.
"What do you want?"
