So. He'd been here for a year now. The anniversary of his arrival came and went with no comment from him; he had nothing to say about it, after all. It was simply... strange... to think about it, how much he'd changed, and none of it for the better. The Barge tore him apart, made him weak, made him feel for other people for the first time in years, and now, worst of all... it was making him live out every saccharine holiday cliche.
