[Kurt wasn't sure what to bring so he brought only himself. When he sees Vita, he bows in an overly theatrical manner] Ah, what radiance, what beauty! Surely you are one of the angels poets compose lengthy sonnets about! [He's not flirting, just being dramatic.]
[Vida turns at Kurt's greeting, and freezes, shocked by his appearance. However, with the kind of class only wealthy socialite (or a man in women's clothes) has learned, she quickly covers her surprise with a flashy smile.]
Oh, Darling, don't flatter me! My ego will swell right up like a balloon and you'll have to roll me right out the door!
[She holds out a hand, palm down.] Vida Bohemme. No, no, don't tell me; let me guess...you are my German knight in shining armor?
[The shock was expected - it always is - but he certainly appreciates the way she hides it. He stands with a smile] My apologies. It is a habit to compliment such splendor when I see it! [Kurt holds her hand gently and gently kisses her knuckles] Most astute you are, fraulein. Kurt Wagner, at your service.
[Kaylee had finished helping Vida decorate before returning to her cabin to wash up and put on some nicer clothes. Now she's back, but seeing not many people have come brings a slight frown to her face, until she sees Vida's already getting on well with the one other guest that's arrived. She finds she quite likes Vida -- she makes her homesick for Inara, really, and the other -- well, she'd never seen a man with blue skin before!]
[Vida's touch is welcomed; he's pleased with her friendliness so quickly. Kurt bows to Kaylee, and in the same dramatic flourish, kisses her hand] Ah, Kaylee! Such a precious flower, a glorious rose in full bloom!
It's no trouble, Miss Vida! I'm always happy to lend a hand. [And she gets a kiss on her hand; she blinks slightly at his fingers, but is all the same surprised and flattered.] Well aren't you the smooth talker? [She beams. Aaaand then another guest appears!] Hi! [A grin] Oh, I guess you're right. [She offers her hand.] M'name's Kaylee Frye!
[Vida is distracted momentarily by one of the staff.] No, Darling, not there! You're going to carry the hors d'oeuvres! This isn't going to be a buffet! Oh, dear...I've upset him. There he goes...
[She turns back to the group with a sigh, and her smile returns.]
Elisabeth, I'm so sorry, darling. It's a pleasure to meet you, and you know, I only just arrived myself!
[The blue elf affected a depressed face, with a drawn out sigh] Nein, not everyone. You seem immune to my charms, Liz. But one day, I shall have you, my love! [He kisses her cheek, and only his theatrical training keeps him from laughing. Then he becomes a bit more serious as he watches the odd staff.] Fraulein Vida, is there anything you still need help with?
Yes, Darling, actually. Could you be a dear and great the guests? I need to go console that nice waiter, and make sure things are almost finished in the kitchen. Kaylee will help, won't you dear? That's a good girl.
[Without waiting for a response, she pats them both on the shoulder, flashes a smile at Elisabeth, and sweeps off into the kitchen, calling for the faceless waiter.]
Tony knew he was supposed to be dressing up, though he didn't really own much in the way of 'dress' clothes. He certainly didn't have an iron, which most dress clothes required to look nice. However, his clothes were coordinated, which he thought was as much as could be expected. Tony wore a fairly nice black and white plaid shirt, a silver eyebrow ring, and a pair of fitted jeans. The shirt was even half tucked in.
When he arrived, however, he saw a very strange looking creature. A demon, perhaps. Tony stopped cold, color leeching out of his face. On the bright side, no evil aura eminated from this individual, despite his fearsome appearance, nor did he gloatingly project images of his past kills into Tony's mind. All the same, the young man was slightly startled.
[Kaylee seems right up to the task of helping, greeting the guests, and directing the delicious looking cake to the table! She's the sort that reaches out to all types of people, but having yummy food helps, and so it is no surprise that she saunters right up to Loki.]
Hi there! There's space on the table over here. [she points] Did you make that yourself?
[Kurt chuckles and elbows Liz right back] I thought we'd agreed on a Greek honeymoon? [He chuckles] Ja, ja, we shall dance on air this night!
[Guests arrive and he figures time to do his job. Kaylee handles the first with the cake and... oh dear, the other boy seemed startled. Kurt walks up to him casually, a kind smile evident] Guten tag, mein herr! Welcome to the party! Do you need assistance with anything?

"Hello?" he asked experimentally.
