Edgar knocked frantically on the entrance leading down to level zero, hoping someone would hear and let him down.

Well that sounded quite frantic, didn't it? He hadn't checked his journal for a bit, perhaps he ought to have. He had guessed without the lights on there was little update on what was going on.

"Hello, hello?" The Doctor opened the door, brows raising when he saw Edgar in the dark.

Running away from his stomach, he assumed.

"Can I come down there? The blood's all clotted, and I want to be in a convenient place in case I lose control. I don't think I need to be in a cell yet, but I don't want to be too far."

"Very well, but-" He opens the door to let Edgar in. Then shuts it behind him.

"That young girl donated her blood. You ought to drink from it before it goes to waste."

"Maybe I will, but...I'll need to think about it." He passed the Doctor to go down the stairs.

Argh, tense fail on my part up there. IMAGINE IT IN PAST TENSE. dominie November 18 2010, 00:25:33 UTC
He closed the door and followed Edgar down. "You're scared of what you might do if you don't eat. It's fine to be afraid, Edgar. Humans become frightened under similar consequences, you've been handling it well and that poor dear shouldn't have had to give her life in vain."

Nonetheless, he tailed Edgar into Zero, a concerned expression on his face.

"I'm sure the other vampires are drinking it, I just...fine. Can you give me a minute?"

He went down the rows of cells, looking for the one Arthas was in. Arthas had offered to make it so he didn't have to eat. He offered to make this hunger go away.

"Fine. Could you bring me some of her blood? If I smell her body I might try to drink the whole thing."

"Spike I believe is in charge of the vampire blood supply. Does your warden know that you're down here?" The Doctor was... antsy about it. He didn't see any other guards around Zero at the moment. He bit his lower lip up between his teeth.

"I can go and get you some, but you'll have to wait in a cell until I return. I can't leave an inmate roaming about, especially at a time like this." It seemed like Edgar was looking for someone, though.

"No, she doesn't know I'm down here, but you can lock me up while you sort all of this out." Finally spotting Arthas, Edgar went into the cell next to him. "You can go ahead and lock the door, then."

This seemed... bizarrely unsettling. So many mixed intentions in one room, but Edgar's always remained good. It was troubling and confusing. But still he went and locked the door for the time being, with every intention of telling Edgar's warden where he was at while he was off getting blood.

The instant the heavy metal door had shut behind seven, a hand extended out in front of the door to Edgar's cell to offer a vial of something opaque black.

"Hm?~"

Edgar reached out and took the vial. "So I just...drink this?"

"It's faster if you can get it straight into the bloodstream, but yes."

"I can't, but my mouth is a pretty fast way to my bloodstream." And with that, he drank it, gagged slightly, but forced it down.

"There may be some slight discomfort. It's a radical transition."

Understatement. On both counts. But there really wasn't a strain of plague more powerful then what came from the former Lich King, it wouldn't take days and weeks like it normally would to incubate.

He nodded, supposing there was nothing left to do but wait.
