Tyr was a prowler. When he didn't sleep- which was usually- he was walking the corridors, doing nothing more than hoping to cause a disturbance of some kind. Unafraid, he kept his hands down to his sides, not threatening...just walking. He wasn't looking for a fight usually.

And especially not tonight. He was walking to get tired so that he could actually sleep. his day was monotonous, boring, and he needed something to get him back on track. An inmate would be nice...

When he heard footsteps coming down the hallway opposite him, he paused, thinking it was just a late night prowler like himself. Instead, he was surprised to see Harper there. Scowling, he quickened his pace to meet him.

Harper glanced up very briefly to see who it was approaching him, and upon recognizing Tyr, promptly aimed for the opposite side of the corridor from him. Earlier in the day he might have been up to aiming for a little banter with the other man, trying to goad a reaction out of him just as an excuse to get him talking, but right now? He was tired and hungry and all pissing off Tyr would do would remind him of just how crap the world outside the Barge could be.

Keeping to the wall, he moved to just walk past the other man.

Not this time, Harper. Tyr's feet paused only briefly when he saw what the engineer was trying to do. He adjusted his only course to intercept him as quickly as he could, not wanting to let him go so easily.

As he passed, he reached out a hand to the other man's chest to try and pin him against the wall.

"This is getting ridiculous."

Harper was... really not the most challenging man in the world to pin to a wall, but as he realized he was being intercepted, he moved to shove the Neitzchien's hand away, with every intention of just continuing, if he could get away with it,

"Hey back off, all right?"

That might have sounded... just a touch more hostile than he'd intended, but he was tired and wasn't entirely sure how Tyr thought that this was a good time for a heart to heart.
