NOTES: Basically, Erik probably already hates you. He will attempt to explore the Barge, "haunting" whenever he encounters anyone and finding himself unable to be quite as mean as he wants to be. Do you see him? Or are you minding your business until he finds you? Your choice!
Erik liked to think of himself as above mankind. Its laws did not apply to him, either societal or natural.
But he was hungry.
Despite his previous bravado, despite having his own room just as he liked it, without a task or an obsession it was just four walls, as much a prison as his mind. And it was much easier to ignore the various calls of nature when Christine or Don Juan or some other project filled his entire consciousness.
In the end, Erik ventured out. He would have anyway, merely out of curiosity, for he could be as anti-social as he pleased without his thirst for knowledge being dimmed at all. And now it had won out. He slipped through as many shadows as he could, picking a time few people seemed to be about, exploring the levels of his new domain. He had much to learn.
