Harry was better about leaving his room since he'd returned to the barge, time and talking had got him through the worst of it, so it was only with a slight, (healthy) amount of trepidation, that he began walking where he was pulled. Resigned to making the best of whatever pairing the Admiral picked for him... As long as it wasn't the prick who beat up Bruce he'd be fine, fine.
Harry stopped short. "Uh, Harry, Harry Lockhart... warden?" He wasn't sure if that'd be a reassurance, then he realised how it sounded. "I mean, uh, warden, definitely. Not... supposed to be a question there."
He wasn't feeling compelled to move on, so this, woman in the shadows, must be it.
"What're you doing here?" Parker didn't know what she was doing here, so this must some kind of alien mind control. Or one of those floods. That made more sense. Why she was supposed to be in the near vicinity of Harry Lockhart of all people was something of a mystery to her.
He shrugged. "Following my nose I guess. You heard the announcement? Flood, expect... crazy."
He was hoping she'd leave the stairway eventually, but didn't want to push it. knowing the Admiral, they could be stuck together for a long while. Best to start on the right foot. "Maybe it's like a treasure hunt. You feeling the urge to go anywhere new?" He wasn't, but that didn't mean anything.
He shrugged again, then stepped forward carefully and began scanning the walls. "No idea." He tapped against the walls as if listening for hollow spots. A treasure hunt did seem a little... benign. "This is the Barge we're talking about." He drew his hand back. "Maybe, uh, maybe treasure isn't the right word." He glanced over at her. "Do I get to know your name, by the way?" He asked with a smile.
Parker looked Harry up and down. "Hagan," she said, seeing no particular reason to stop lying now. "Agent Hagan." She didn't have her badge on her, but oh well. He'd believe her or he wouldn't.
He nodded, not necessarily accepting or disbelieving, "Pleased to meet you, Agent... Hagan. Agent Hagan." How were you supposed to adress Feds? Except maybe by running out the backdooor, but that wouldn't present the right wardenly image really would it?
He glanced back at the wall, then up the stairs. "Well, this is nice and all, but." He jerked his thumb back the way his came and shrugged a third time. "See you around." And he turned to make his way back to his room.
Parker nodded, not seeing the point of sticking around some random spot on the seventh floor for no reason. She turned back to the stairs and tried to jump down them, but for some reason, it was really difficult. The further she tried to go, the harder she had to strain to move, until snap! She found herself being yanked backwards.
Harry fell backwards, slammed against something that he later figured out was Parker's back and collapsed onto the stairs, rolling down two steps, bashing his head, and managing to halt a messy fall and possibly painful death, by tangling his hands in the railings.
He pulled himself up to a sitting position once his head had stopped spinning and, raising his hand to what was probably going to be a fine lump in a few hours, looked over at Parker. "So, that went well." He stood and extended his other hand towards her.
Parker was fairly quick and light on her feet, so she managed to avoid falling down. She did, however, slam into the wall with enough force to knock the breath out of her.
She watched Harry fall, surprised but not not caring much beyond the fact that she felt physically drawn to him. She grabbed the railing at the top of that flight of stairs and looked down at him, half-wondering if he was alright. When he held out his hand, she just stared blankly, not sure what he expected her to do.
"You all right? Sorry, I thought..." Nope, just him cornering the flat-footed area of the market. He dropped his hand. "Could we maybe go somewhere less accident prone before trying that again?" Not that trying again would likely yield better results, but, well, you never knew.
"Well, maybe we're supposed to stay here. Maybe if we try to go somewhere else, we'll just keep getting pulled back to this spot." Parker looked around, squinting at the walls, floor, and ceiling as though she could see giant magnets or something holding them there.
He sighed. "That's swell." He slumped back down to sit on a step and feel at the soon-to-be lump on the back of his head. Wincing each time he poked too hard.
He wasn't going to think about his bladder. Nope, no thinking about the two cups of coffee he probably shouldn't have had for breakfast.
He drew his legs together. Then crossed them. "Any luck?" He called over to her, looking up to where she was.

"Who's there?" she hissed, keeping in the stairwell for the moment.
