Impromptu Party

Sep 01, 2010 03:51

WHO: Dorian and EVERYONE!
WHEN: 9 pm.
WHERE: 7th Floor, First Room. Expect it to spill out into the nearby lounge.
WHAT: A PARTY. Dorian misses the parties he used to throw, and frankly he could use a good day, so come party with Dorian Grey like it's 1890!
WARNINGS: Uh. There's gonna be booze. And lots of people. And probably they're gonna annoy people trying to sleep. There may be fights. Or orgies. Who knows!
NOTES: Seriously, bring people in, even if it's just to pop in and disapprove of joyous parties. Also, feel free to post place-holders and come back to it.

Dorian is, as he was in his party announcement, lounging on the divan, one leg crossed elegantly over the other in what some might think a feminine pose. He is smoking leisurely, waiting for people to begin to arrive.

Dorian's Room Layout [is this helpful? Do you need to know something else?]:

The room is decently sized, though will not be even remotely large enough if many people arrive at once. It is arranged like a suite, with the bed to one far side of the room and shrouded in thick curtains. At the foot of the bed is a bench nearly the full length of the bed on which guests could likely sit if they chose. Nearby is a writing desk and a wooden chair, which could be borrowed as a seat for the party.

The other side of the room is a sitting area, with the large divan that Dorian is sitting on, arranged near two high backed chairs, and a low table in the center. There are a few low ottomans about with rich upholstery and carved wooden legs. Any of these could be seats. Any guests who cannot find a seat will be required to dance, perhaps shirtless. There is a wine rack type of thing against the wall near the sitting area, however it contains not just wine, but liquor as well. Not an excessive amount, but enough to fuel a small party.
