The building was feeling even worse now. Even more like the Centre and even more like they weren't going to get out of this. Parker knew it was the House fucking with her, and she was trying to ignore the flashes she saw out of the corner of her eye, the ghosts that looked like her mother with a bullet hole fixed inside her head, her pale suit flecked with blood and dirt and brain, a package in her hands. How many times had she seen that in her dreams since Jarod had sent her that sim? How many times...
She shuddered quickly, her steps moving quickly despite the impossibleness of her dress. The hem had been torn at some point to make it easier to move in, and her cheeks were dirty from the area and crying. Parker moved silently as she could, not wanting to draw attention to them if she could avoid it. They needed to avoid it, both of them. She'd removed the key from the nurse's station, and she stopped in front of the door, looking to Judas quickly. "We go on three, you ready?"

At the sound of her words, the Apostle simply nodded and held his gun out in front of him like he'd learned in Masterworld and even more in the zombie port.
"Got it," he moved to the other side of the door, swallowing as he tried to remember how best to cover someone when they opened a door.

She swallowed and nodded to him when he held is gun out in front of him, and then Parker looked towards the door again quickly. She held up her fingers, counting them off. On three she kicked the door open quickly, holding out her gun to the corners before she said. ""Denise!"

She was pale and sort of drawn in on herself, not due to the ghosts (who had only ticked her off) but her treatment in the saturation chamber. That reaction was a physiological response as much as it was psychological; the lights and sound became torturous after a while. She'd stopped crying long before her inmate and Judas showed up, though, and kept up a facade of her usual bravado and bitchiness.
She moved out of her cell and towards the hunting party, arms crossed tightly in front of her. "Took you long enough," she said, which was essentially the closest she could come to thanking them. Especially Parker, who'd come even after their little blowup.

"Are you alright?" he asked the doctor, trying to focus on giving some sense of concern while all he wanted to do was find Sexby.
Judas, he heard from behind him and the Apostle swallowed nervously. Judas.

"We need to get Judas's warden," Parker said quickly. "Sexby. We're not leaving Judas down here to deal with this alone." She was using her stern tone of voice as she held onto her gun, but her eyes darted behind her every once in a while. She could still see them, those little kids running around this fucking place, and she could still see her father watching her. She wouldn't mention it to Denise, she couldn't deal with that in here as well. Of course if Denise looked at Paddy's journal she was fucked, but for now she was going to keep her ghosts as fucking private as she could.
"Judas," Parker said quickly, trying to draw his attention back to her. "Which way do we go? We need to get to Denise's item and see if they're in the same place."

In truth, she didn't want to leave Judas behind either. She honestly liked the guy some of the time. She conveyed that by clapping Judas on the shoulder and responding to his inquiry. "I've been better."
She stepped out of the cell but turned back for a moment, lifting a middle finger at one far corner. Anyone looking through their journal would have been able to see a short, somewhat stocky, early-middle-aged blonde with brown eyes standing there. Essentially, an older, more compact version of Denise--all the features Denise had gotten from her father aside.
"Let's get moving," she said, taking her eyes off that corner and returning her gaze to Judas and Parker.

Judas, he called and the Apostle couldn't help but just stare.
"J-Jesus?" His voice quiet and uncertain for a few moments before he looked down at his hands and the communicator there; Sexby needed him. "Th-That way."

"Okay." She said again, glad that the item was telling her that Denise's item was in the same direction. It needed to be. This house... she wanted to burn the damn place down to the ground, blow it up like Syd had tried in the Centre. For a moment Parker just trembled, and then she gestured quickly to Judas. "We need to fucking find Sexby. Let's get going. Your item's this way too." Parker said to Denise, staring over her shoulder rather than directly at her. Parker's skin was completely washed out, and somewhere she'd lost that crimson lipstick, but the color was visible in her eyes. "What is your item?"

As for everything else? She was still dependent on Parker to get her out of there. That didn't make her at all happy. She didn't like to depend on anyone.

"M-Make a right," he stated quietly, trying to remain sane as he began to visibly struggle.
You leave me to torturers again? the voice echoed and the Apostle's breath hitched.
They were nearing Sexby's room, his communicator said. Keep going, keep going, keep going.

"You can do this, Judas. Come on. Fucking stay with us." She was shivering violently, but focusing on him rather than the ghosts around her made it easier. Quickly Parker looked to Denise, turning a bit before she took a step to the right and closer to Judas. The look clearly said that she was asking for help with this.

She wasn't even touching the ghost of Douchebag-Edition Jesus issue. She'd just end up saying something to make it worse, regardless of intent, and wisely chose to keep her mouth shut.

I took you in when you were nothing but a spoiled noble, eternally drunk and wasting money.
The Apostle's breath hitched and he realized he was tearing up. More deep breaths. More deep breaths. The writing on his communicator said they were in the West Wing, they had to be close, right?
You deserved Hell then, and you deserve it now. The voice turned sharply and Judas had to stop his gait. Up ahead stood the same image as before, a bleeding, dying Jesus.
"I...I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he babbled as he tried to keep his emotions.

She reached over and looked at his communicator, and then up ahead. It looked like the ghost would be in front of the nurses station. Parker looked to Denise, then to Judas, then to the reflection in the journal. "We need to get the key out of the station."

And through the ghost.
As it wasn't 'her ghost', she was unable to feel it. She couldn't even see or hear it without use of her journal. All there was left to do was kick open to door to the nurses' station, rummage around, and retrieve the key, all of which she did at a reasonable (for the circumstances) pace.
"Catch," she said, tossing the key to Judas as she rejoined the group.
