SPAM [For Iago and whoever!]heavenonthemindJune 20 2010, 23:18:25 UTC
[Judas didn't know up from down when he appeared on the seventh level, completely stark naked and much cleaner than he'd been the entire weekend. The blood that had been caked to every nook of his body was gone; Paddy's blood, zombie blood, his own blood, his skin was now a fresh, blank slate. What he noticed before that, though, was his distinct lack of weaponry. Where had his shotgun gone? And his satchel full of gauze and supplies. His blue eyes grew bright with fear, the red-rimmed and bloodshot quality making them stand out even more from his face than usual.]

Iago had managed to escape his own entry point free of too much awkwardness. He had been roaming the ship, going from the infirmary to the various corridors, just trying to find word of the Marquis or Judas. Not that he'd admit to the former.
But it was Judas he first saw. Standing naked there. Wonderful. He reached over, grabbing his arm gently.

Judas at first didn't notice the approach of Iago before he felt the touch of the soldier's hand on his arm. He jumped first, clearly startled by it, before he just threw his arms around him, holding him like he had feared the other man wouldn't return. It was only now that the Apostle noticed his lack of clothing when he felt the fabric of Iago's against his own bare skin.
"I didn't think I would," he mumbled into the side of Iago's neck, not even beginning to let go or form a coherent thought. "You were... I thought..."

Judas stepped back when Iago removed his shirt, very much on the verge of crying again more in relief than distress. He quickly slipped it over his shoulders and buttoned it up, glad for once that Iago was taller and all-together bigger than him, as it hung low enough to cover his manbits as well as the dark bruising covering a good portion of his body.
"I..." he looked back at the other two before simply turning away; as appreciative as he was, Billy and Parker reminded him of death at the moment and he didn't want to think about it. "Alright."

Iago rubbed Judas' cheek and took his hand, not caring that his own body was covered in various bruises and cuts. He was a soldier. He had weathered worse in his life than these injuries. It was just the mental stress that was getting to him.
He unlocked and opened his door when they reached it and stepped inside. "You've still got clothes here, Judas."

When they reached Iago's room and moved inside, Judas quickly closed the door behind them, locking it and hurrying to try and pull the desk over to bar it. He wouldn't take any chances. Not tonight. Not after that. But he was far to weak to even begin to move it after four days of nearly no sleep and two deaths, one right under his hands, so he tugged uselessly at it, stubbornly refusing to just give up.

Iago walked over and put a hand on Judas' side, kissing his shoulder. "Stop, love. I will protect you." His voice was emotionless, cold. Stale. He was dying himself and he just didn't have the energy to fight with Judas.

"No, I need to..." but after a couple more tugs, his hands tore away from the desk, skinning them some but putting him more safely in Iago's grasp.
The Apostle was still very much on high alert and didn't want to sleep, he wanted to be prepared so he wouldn't lose anyone else. He shook under Iago's touch, jittery, anxious, and simply unable to stand still in any manner.
"Iago," his voice dropped closer to a sob, his breath hitching.

Iago wrapped one arm across his chest and the other around his waist, resting his lips against his cheek. "Don't worry about anything, Judas. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He was shaking now, holding him tighter as he closed his eyes tightly.

Judas tried somewhat to turn his head to speak in response but just leaned there against Iago, chest heaving and trying to seek some kind of peace from the past four days in the presence of the soldier. The warmth of the other man's body, the fact that he could feel the younger man shaking against him. The Apostle just remained there in Iago's grasp closing his eyes and beginning to sob for what seemed like the nth time this weekend. He wanted to sing or do something other than just cry a little nonsensically in the other man's arms, but no words came to him at this time.
Re: SPAM [For Iago and whoever!]inhumandogJune 21 2010, 01:13:04 UTC
Iago couldn't and wouldn't cry, but he was more than happy to let the other man do so. After a few moments, though, he let go, walking back to his closet and taking out a pair of pants and a shirt. Giving Judas the former, he slipped the latter over his head.
Re: SPAM [For Iago and whoever!]heavenonthemindJune 21 2010, 01:17:53 UTC
When Iago let go, Judas just sat down on the ground and continued to de-stress in the only way he could at the moment. The shirt slipped over his head made him fidget like a little kid, still past the point of functioning like a proper adult man. But he obediently pulled on his pants, if not a little bit again like a kid. When he was indeed dressed, the Apostle pressed his face back into his hands until he gagged and shuddered. Underneath his eyelids he could see Paddy's form going limp underneath his hands, a very dead Snape, hours upon hours of guts and gore strewn out, and shooting fellow human beings in the head. All of it was simply too much for the usually non-violent man.

Iago sat down behind him once he was dressed, and put one foot on either side of him before wrapping his arms around him and pulling him back against his chest.

Judas tried to breathe in through his nose, to calm down under Iago's touch. It took more effort than he wanted to expend at this moment but he was certainly working at it, as the shuddering gasps lessened and his anxiety decreased to the point that he was no longer in danger of vomiting. Carefully, he leaned back against the soldier and calmed to the point of just quiet crying.
"Thank you," his words were punctuated by his deep breathing, but were full of gratitude as his limbs began to lose their tone and he began to relax further in the secure hold of his companion.
