Tommy had never in his life been in an amusement park, so when he found himself almost directly under a Ferris wheel, he was quite disoriented until he figured out what it was. A quick pat-down of his clothes revealed that both his pocket knife and his service revolver were gone. Fortunately, he still had his notebook, a pencil, and sixpence.
"Hello?" he called out softly, looking around to see if there was anybody else nearby.
