Who: Karrin and Miranda
When: Shortly after Miranda arrived.
Where: All over?
Warnings: None yet.

Miranda, after having a short conversation with Karrin Murphy and accepting her offer of a tour of the Barge, promptly forgot about it when she discovered the book (that is, the Runway mock-up for Fall 2007) in one of her desk drawers. She switched off the camera on her computer and began to flip through it. It was a good distraction from the overwhelmingly frustrating natures of the other people here.

Particularly the masculine woman with the foul mouth. She'd encountered people like that before and had a thick enough skin to ignore them, but it was always boring and time consuming to deal with the arguments that fashion was making girls hate themselves.

Girls hated themselves because of their peers; they hated themselves because of Catholicism and acne and body odor and brown hair. Whether Michael Kors decided to use cerulean or topaz for his fall collection had absolutely nothing to do with whether a teenager girl was well-adjusted.
