Judas entered his lover's room quietly, a little tired but now ready to sleep. He was dressed again in his pajamas as he locked the door behind him before pulling up the blankets and sliding underneath them.

Iago looked up from his book as Judas returned and just shook his head. "Why do you walk through the hallways in those clothes?" He returned to his book and moved over just a bit in the bed. He normally waited up for him, at least.

Judas leaned over toward Iago, an eyebrow raised as he asked, "What do you mean?"
He took a cautious look down at himself before looking to his lover again, as he didn't see the loose sweatpants and t-shirt as anything scandalous or revealing. Sure, he got a little cold but the Apostle was thin-blooded to begin with.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoominhumandogJune 3 2010, 22:30:53 UTC
Iago shrugged, as he had grown used to wearing the expensive clothes from Masterworld, as well as from New York. He just...took pride in his appearance and the thought of Judas walking down the hallway in such a state annoyed him.

Judas gave something of a shrug before he leaned up to kiss Iago's cheek. He laid down close to his lover's side and looked up at him when he answered.
"I cleaned my room some, worked in the Infirmary, the usual," as it had been a mostly humdrum day with few exceptions. "Yours?"
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoominhumandogJune 3 2010, 22:40:32 UTC
Iago looked over when Judas answered and raised a shoulder slightly in response. "Same as yesterday. Unless the Admiral rams this Barge into something or we dock, there really is no break to the day."
He leaned back against the pillows and set his books aside.
"I told you about what the Marquis said, did I not? That I must speak more to women. I'm quite sure his intentions are to make me see some of their worth. Or something of that nature. I simply see no use in it."
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoomheavenonthemindJune 3 2010, 22:43:41 UTC
Judas stretched a hand up to run across Iago's back, fingers firm against muscles he could feel under his touch. At the mention of women, the Apostle's look soured and he pressed his lips into a frown.
"There are very few of them who are worth anything," he spoke in a disgusted tone at the thought of having to talk to them more.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoomheavenonthemindJune 3 2010, 23:16:12 UTC
Judas furrowed his eyebrows ran his hand down Iago's back to place over the soldier's hand on his scruffy cheek. It had taken five days of not shaving to get that kind of hair there. But, he was a little curious.
"The Marquis is making you talk to women?" he sounded distinctly puzzled.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoominhumandogJune 3 2010, 23:33:17 UTC
"He is asking me to. He is suggesting that it might aid in my graduation." Iago felt that he needed to make that distinction. He didn't want to shed that light on the Marquis that he was a slave driver, or that Iago was resisting what he was doing. Yes, he disliked the assignment, but he could see the merit in it.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoomheavenonthemindJune 3 2010, 23:36:53 UTC
Judas shifted so he could scoot closer to the soldier possessively and raised an eyebrow as he asked, "And are you doing it?"
He wanted the answer to be no, that no woman was even getting close to the man he loved. The jealousy was already rising in his chest and he hated the feeling of it burning through his throat.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoominhumandogJune 3 2010, 23:38:53 UTC
Iago was enjoying this far more than he probably should. Of course, he was not aware of the jealousy, but he could sense that there was something strange. So he pressed, wanting to see what happened.
"Of course. At the moment, it is only Claire and Wichita."
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoomheavenonthemindJune 3 2010, 23:45:19 UTC
Judas's eyes furrowed again and he sat up a little to shift even closer, now half-laying against the soldier's chest with a frown clear on his face. He took Iago's words as implying that he wanted more company with the fairer sex.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoominhumandogJune 3 2010, 23:48:14 UTC
Iago leaned over and kissed him deeply, knowing when he had gone too far. "Claire was my slave at one point and Wichita is more masculine than some men I know." He shrugged, trailing his fingertips across his jaw.
Re: 23:30 - Iago's RoomheavenonthemindJune 3 2010, 23:51:48 UTC
Instead of answering, Judas just leaned up to seal his lips against Iago's again, working furiously to try and somehow keep his anxieties about their relationship at bay by showing in some way his kissing prowess (when he actually lacked some). He pulled back to shift again so he was somewhat kneeling, his knees on either side of Iago, before going right back at it, his hands pressed tight across the soldier's cheeks.

"They don't really count."

"Judas, love..." He took a deep breath. Unused to such affection, he was smothering in it at the moment, though he did appreciate the gesture.
