Tirion came up to the entrance of the CES not long after Jace arrived there. He probably should have stopped wearing the armor, but it was habit, and frankly, he wasn't about to go about go without the armor or the Ashbringer, the sword hanging from his belt, with Arthas around.

"Greetings, Jace."

The armor really didn't seem all that out of place to Jace. He was wearing his usual blue cloak and had his knife with him, and seeing a paladin in armor with his sword wasn't all that odd. This place could be dangerous, he knew.

"Good afternoon, Tirion. After you," He said, gesturing to the door to the CES.

Tirion pushed open the door the CES, and stepped through. There was a chill in the air, as he was greeted by a grassy, but rocky region. There were evergreen trees dotting the area, and a bubbling stream not far away.

"Hmm. Howling Fjord."

Jace stepped in after Tirion, looking around. It was a pleasant place. Interestingly, there was a body of water nearby. He reached out with his magic to tap into it.

"This is a place you've been before?"

"It looks like part of Howling Fjord." Tirion glanced around as well, half expecting iron dwarves or the vykrul, giant human men, to be patrolling about.

"Howling Fjord is where my people and I first arrived in Northrend."

Jace hadn't yet seen any truly familiar sights in the CES. He wanted to ask more about what Northrend was, but managed to stop himself. They were here for a reason.

He started to walk slowly over to the trees. "I hope you don't mind if we get down to business now, but... what can you tell me about Frostmourne?"

"Certainly." Business before pleasure, after all. Tirion followed a few steps behind Jace. His brow furrowed in thought, as he considered where to begin.

"The sword was forged by demons, by the Burning Legion. It is, or at least was, part of the Lich King - an extension of his power."

That was information Jace hadn't had yet heard. Created by demons, about it being a part of something larger he was already aware.

"Is the Lich King the person to wield it first?" Jace asked.

"Arthas was the first person to take up the blade, despite being warned against it."

"The sword was... separated from the Frozen Throne, which the Lich King was originally imprisoned within. It was placed in a cavern, whereupon some elementals took guard to safeguard it from being taken. They also put an inscription upon the dias where the blade rested."

"I've heard Arthas believes he will be destroyed if Frostmourne is destroyed. Do you think that's true? Do you know what the inscription said?" Jace asked. He was listening intently when Tirion spoke, memorizing everything since he usually didn't bother with written notes.

His memory was good enough that he'd never needed written notes to remember anything.

"'Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit.' I believe that's how the translation went." Tirion mulled over the first question for a moment, looking up at the blue sky.

"I think it's possibly true. The sword takes souls, and from what I gathered from the death knights who were freed, it took Arthas' first. He and the sword are bound."

Jace spent a few moments thinking that over. "So if we were able to retrieve his soul from the sword, do you think he might be saved while Frostmourne is destroyed?"

If it was as simple as taking a soul, Jace was sure there had to be someone who knew magic capable of moving souls. Perhaps even Hix, moving souls fell in the category of necromancy.

"I believe so. It truly would be best if he was freed from the blade."

"But if Frostmourne took part of Gellert Grindelwald and Doctor Hix, I'd be wary of destroying the blade until they are freed of it as well."

"I freed Hix from Frostmourne not long ago. I'm unsure if it will stay out permanently, but it's gone for now," Jace explained, "I will probably attend to Gellert as well..."

He paused for a moment, before he decided this was a question worth asking, "Frostmourne said something I didn't quite understand while we were fighting, what is the Nether?"

"It's good that they'll no longer be bothered by the sword, but I would like to see that they're not harmed by the sword's destruction." The sword had already claimed enough lives, enough souls.

"The Nether? ... I assume it meant the Twisting Nether." Tirion paused a moment, considering how to try to explain it. "The Twisting Nether is... an ethereal dimension, but it also overlaps with our own. It's full of chaotic magic, and is where the Burning Legion is said to reside."

Jace nodded slowly as Tirion Explained. "Can you access other dimensions from the Twisting Nether?" Jace asked curiously. It sounded like the Blind Eternities, although he wasn't sure how anything could reside there.
