As soon as his conversation with Arthas over the network had finished, Tirion started heading for the level two common room. The armor would likely be unfamiliar to Arthas in his current state, but there was nothing he could do about that. No tabard of the Argent Crusade, and the Ashbringer was slung across his back.

This would be the first time Tirion had talked with Arthas since arriving, since Icecrown, and the man was now a boy, from before everything that had happened.

Tirion glanced about the room, letting the door shut behind him. Said boy had currently perched himself upon a bookshelf.

"... You should probably get down from there, Arthas."

Arthas, really, hadn't seen Tirion before, but paladins did have a "look" and Tirion fit it to a T - shiny armor that glowed in places with the Light and a wise-ish sort of beard - all that was missing was the white horse. He supposed it was outside.

At the admonishment, though, he took on the manner of scolded children everywhere and immediately climbed back down, crestfallen. "They weren't listening to me," he explained.

He replaced the oreos, which was probably what he would be expected to do next anyway.

"I just didn't want you fall and hurt yourself," Tirion smiled gently, he wasn't trying to be too admonishing really. He wasn't too worried about the cookies.

"Let me take a look at your hands first before we try to get them to listen."

"Okay..."

He held out his hands, which were indeed slightly reddish on the fingertips. The room he had woken up in was freezing.

Tirion got down on one knee to get a closer look at Arthas' hands. He gently took the small hands in his own gauntlet covered ones, and called forth the Light to warm and heal the frostbite.

"Is there anything else that was affected? Ears or your toes?"

"I didn't check." He looked worried, one hand going to his ear. "I had my shoes on, though, the whole time I was in that cold room."

"Your feet should be okay then." Tirion shifted a hand to cup one of Arthas' ears, calling forth the Light again just to make sure. "I'd be more worried about unprotected skin first."

The Light always felt warm and comforting, and having it so close to his head made him vaguely sleepy for a moment - Arthas yawned.

"Thank you, Sir Fordring. What should I be looking for?"

"Anywhere that is itchy, hurting and starting to go numb. Those are usually the first signs of frostbite."

It had been a while since people had called him Sir. It wasn't as odd as being called Mister at least. Perhaps he had gotten too used to people calling him Highlord.

"You can simply call me Tirion if you wish."

"Um. I think I'm okay now, then. It's warmer in here...Can we go home, though? I also promised I'd get everyone else back, too."

Everything was going to be fine now that there was a paladin here - paladins were like police officers.

"I'm afraid we can't home, not yet." Tirion couldn't just lie to the boy about that.

"But you'll be able to go home soon enough."

Soon enough was a very typical phrase when one demanded things right now, and Arthas had generally learned to accept it.

"Why are we all here, then? How did you find me? Did father send you?"

"Some people are here because they've been chosen to get help that they couldn't get back home, and the others are here to help them." It was close enough to the truth, and also something he had seen one of the other wardens post. Best to keep stories straight.

"I was actually already here, because I want to help people."

"No but-"

He frowned.

"The people that all arrived today. The- the kids. Why are we here?"

"... You were all already here, but older." He sighed, he didn't quite understand these floods.

"Something seems to have happened to you all, turning you all back into children."

Arthas looked like Tirion had grown a second head.

"I- that's what the warlock said. I was at home yesterday. I saw my family. I went to sleep in my bed, I skinned my knee playing guards and bandits with Varian."

There hadn't been a scrape on his knee this morning, he realized with a jolt. Someone had healed it when they moved him, he had been sure...
