Who: Ruby and Libby
What: Their first meeting as a warden/inmate pair.
When: Dinner time on Friday.
Where: The Dining Hall.
Warnings: Language, maybe?
Ruby was a little hesitant about all this. Yes, she was very pleased with the Admiral's decision to put them together. Libby had taken up for her when she was blamed for Lucifer's visit to the barge, and she seemed to actually believe in her ability to be redeemed, even if she'd been doubting that herself as of late. Maybe Libby could believe enough for the both of them, or maybe this would turn out all wrong. Maybe working so close with her would show the woman that she really was a lost cause, whatever it was that meant.
Still, whatever it was she had during the flood in January, it was worth fighting for. If she failed, she failed.
She was just tired of fighting so hard for something for it to amount to nothing.
She met Libby where they had agreed and ate quietly. Libby was the warden here; Ruby would let her lead.
