The Last few minutes was nearly a blur to her, she remembered a struggle with the Joker, and the cracking of bone as she broke his arm, but she was too slow. The deprivation of both blood and food made her weak and she was stabbed, dying. The Joker seemed to escaped when this little girl came out of nowhere, then there was only blackness, similar to when Rayne killed her. However, she had woken up to beautiful singing, it was coming from Azmaria. She was glowing and had wings, Bathory could have sworn Azmaria was an Angel or something. Could it be?

Then she remembered, she was okay, and being pulled by Azmaria to this room, presumably her room, then Azmaria had seemed to pass out. Since then Butcheress had been pacing the room, thinking, conflicted. Death threats and Assassination attempts were like jokes to her, she treated such things like entertainment, fun. But this, this situation was different, Azmaria had saved her, possibly brought her to life. No one had ever done anything like that for Bathory, and such a thing was really confusing to her. She had spent the entire time Azmaria rested watching the girl, trying to understand her. It wasnt until she started stiring, Butcheress snaped out of it and looked around the room.

Bathory went over to the girl as she awoke, sitting next to her. "Yes Azmaria. Im here." she replied speaking gently, almost motherly to her, and lightly brushing her hand against Azmaria's hair while pushing aside her conflicted thoughts to focus on furthering her plans which required her to win the girl over completely. "Im feeling better, thank you precious. Are you alright? You passed out for several hours...I was worried." Bathory at said with a smile. Thinking nothing of acting like this, but all the while not feeling anything like a normal human would.

In her blurry state of mind, Azmaria could have almost sworn she was in the presence of dear miss Satella; perhaps it was the voice; the German accent combine with the tender affections... Azmaria shook her head like a confused little kitten, in attempt to scatter the thoughts; thinking of miss Satella was always so sad...

"I'm alright, Miss Bathory," Azmaria said, putting on a brave smile to mask the weakness she felt; healing always drained her energy, leaving her weak for days at a time. "Y-you don't need to worry about me... I-I wasn't the one attacked, after all," she said, and suddenly her eyes looked glossy, as if she might cry. "I-I'm so sorry that you had to... go through that, Miss Bathory! I wish I had arrived sooner..." Azmaria's lower lip trembled as if she was trying not to cry. "A-are your wounds all healed, at least?"

Bathory watched the girl, stroking her hair in a motherly way, pondering if this girl was a Angel, or if she even knew what she was. Bathory listened to her, as if she was truly concerned about the girl then noticed she looked about to cry, and gave her a hug, all the while fighting back her sick and twisted impulses, being this close to the girl gave her thoughts of killing her or introducing her to sex, but she would jeopardize the plan. No, she continued to hold her in a motherly way, stroking her hair.

"How can I not worry about you? Your so sweet and precious, and your my friend." Bathory nearly whispered, continuing to hold Azmaria in a gentle hug. "Im use to being attacked, nearly everyone aside from you wants to kill me, but you saved me." Bathory continued, at the same trying to calm the girl down with her motherly behavior and hug. "Sweetness.. Im fine, your..power healed me...but tell me.. Are you an Angel Azmaria? I saw wings and a glowing light and your song. It was all beautiful, and looked divine." Bathory finally asked, hoping her soft tone and sweet words would convince Azmaria to share with her, the secret of what had happened.

Azmaria sniffled, holding back a tiny sob as Bathory hugged her. The girl became stiff for a moment, almost seeming reluctant, before crumpling into Bathory's embrace. She took a shaky breath, winding her small arms around Bathory's shoulders, and hiding her face against the woman's collarbone.

"Thank you for your kind words," she said in a quiet, unsteady voice. "You're my friend too, Miss Bathory... I-I was just so scared, when I saw... w-what that man did... I was so scared..." Azmaria bit her bottom lip, repressing another sob as tears leaked from her bright, glossy red eyes. Her shoulder quivered as she attempted to calm herself.

"N-no, I'm not an Angel... I'm an Apostle," she murmured quietly, not moving an inch from her spot against Bathory; the woman really did remind her so much of Miss Satella. "I-It means I was chosen by god... I have these powers, and these wings..." she sniffled, still trying not to cry. Her shoulders shook harder as if she was repressing another spell of sobs. "To be honest, my wings usually bring such bad luck... b-but I'm so happy that this time my powers did something good; they saved you..."

Bathory caressed the girls back softly, listening to her, and finding her obviously weak, but curiously instead of her pathetic like others she finds weak, she felt a little protective over her, which confused her more.

"Your welcome dear. I know The Joker must have seemed scary, especially looking like a clown.. but hes not really to blame here. He had a weapon.. someone had to have given it to him. Someone else is behind this." Butcheress whispered to Azmaria, then leaned her head against the girls.

"An.. Apostle? Very Interesting. However..to me, your a true Angel. Your everything the bible describes one to be." Bathory said to the girl, trying to make her feel comforted. "If you feel like crying.. do so. Im here for you my friend." she whispered to the girl. Knowing encouraging such emotions while being held by her would encourage Azmaria to trust her more and bring her closer, she continued. "Shh.. just let it go precious."

Azmaria shuddered at the still fresh memories of the frightening man she had seen, apparently called "The Joker." She wondered why Bathory got so much trouble, when The Joker was obviously so much more dangerous then she was. She let out a shaky breath as she felt the gentle stroking, a blurry calmness seeping over her.

"Someone gave it to him? Hm..." Azmaria thought for a moment or two, and it didn't take her long to come up with a suspect; it was clear The Horrible Miss Rayne wanted to see her poor inmate hurt, and a warden would have access to any number of sharp things that could be used as weapons.

"Grazie mille," Azmaria said, then quickly correcting herself, "I-I mean... Thank you very much, th-that is very sweet... I'm so happy you think so." Azmaria tilted her head up, her chin resting against Bathory's collarbone. Tears beaded at the corners of her glossy red eyes, but she managed a tiny smile, "I-I know you're here for me... b-but I... I want to be strong, I don't want to cry to much..." she sniffled, attempting to hold off the sobs, and tucking her head under Bathory's chin. She stayed there quietly for a few moments before murmuring,

"Miss Bathory... Do you see the crosses on the walls? Those are cross barriers... and because of them, Miss Rayne can not come into my room... I-I would feel much better if I knew you were safe, so.... would you like to stay in here for a while? You'll be safe from your horrible warden, and I'll bring you food whenever you want it..." she said quietly, shyly.

"Grazie Mille?" Bathory asked softly. "Your welcome, what are friends for precious? There there.. it will be ok." Bathory continued comforting Azmaria, thankfully she passed out for a few hours, as Violence and Adrenaline always make her so aroused, she'd probably would not have been able to handle being so close to her new friend so soon after the incident without acting out one of her deliciously sadistic fantasies.

"Oh dear, there is nothing weak about crying, its a natural reaction the body has, to release stress. I went Doctor for a moment, forgive me." she suddenly, gave Azmaria a soft kiss on her head. "I would love to stay here for awhile.. and I am.. starving. It is why I was not strong enough to handle being stabbed.." Bathory was hungry of course, but she dare not yet tell her new friend it was mostly for blood. No, because then she would have to explain her Ancestral Mortal Vampirism and at this point, she figured it would scare the girl. No, she might have to sneak out for the blood. Still, things were going according to plan, her new friend trusted her enough to invite her to stay, it was only a matter of time before she could start influencing her.

"Thank you.. so much for helping me. Your the only person who has ever done so. It means so much to me." she said, with a smile, realizing that was the appropriate response to what Azmaria had done for her. Though deep down, part of her actually ment it, and it disturbed her.

"Grazie Mille just means "Thanks you very much"... It's Italian; I was born in Italy," Azmaria explained, seeming a little more contented as she remained curled up against Bathory's front, blissfully unaware of any dangers that might lurk there. She giggled slightly at Bathory's Doctorly explanation of crying, and said,

"I-I know, but I should be the one taking care of you right now, you were the one attacked, after all." Azmaria wove her fingers together behind Bathory's neck, settling down where she was and seeming to regain a small sense of calm. "You can stay here as long as you like. Just tell me what you want me to bring you from the dinning hall, and I'll get it for you," she said, tilting her head up and giving Bathory a bright, pretty smile.

"You don't need to thank me Miss Bathory... I came here because I wanted to do this; I want to help people like you. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough time until now... but I'll do my best to make it better for you, I promise."
