If Namor had been hoping for a friend in Ivy, it was very different than the relationship Ivy had imagined. Her idea had more the overtones of a hostage situation, rather than a nice chat and a cup of tea. As most of her encounters with men began, she started by examining the multitude of ways she could quickly dispose of him.
Since it seemed her toxins were affected by the low light and strange nature of this place, she would have to find other ways of incapacitating her victims. There was, of course, the vine trick...but she was always so exhausted after one of those sprees, it almost didn't seem worth it.
Then again, without the Batman...
She shook the thought away. She didn't want to think about him. Her new life was much, much better now that the big black bat was out of the picture.
She opened the door, leaning against it slightly, and eyed her visitor. "My. Aren't you a strange one?"
This, of course, coming from a woman dressed in leaves and vines with greenish skin, living in a room that looked more like a terrarium.
"As are you, though in a way I most certainly can appreciate."
Her plant theme intrigued him, as did the beauty of the room beyond her, truly suiting a woman as gorgeous as Ivy. The greenish skin tone reminded him of Marrina, the fierce environmentalism of himself, and the red hair of Dorma. It was like a culmination of all his loves in one form, at least so far.
Ivy stepped aside, opening the door wider, and motioned with her hand for him to enter.
In one corner of the room, there were two structures that might either have been chairs covered in vines, or vines in the vague shape of chairs. On one of these, Ivy seated herself, crossing her ankles and resting her elbows on her knees.
"You are much different than I imagined. I didn't envision the...fins? Wings?" She gestured to his feet, then rested her chin on the back of one hand. "It's an interesting affectation."
"Yes, they are wings," he confirmed as he walked into the room, regarding the large plants in awe.
There were two chairs of vines, one of which she seated herself in, the other of which Namor settled in himself, continuing to look around.
"Your room is quite lovely."
As was she, of course. However, Namor was probably an interesting sight himself. Aside from his gills, pointed ears and ankle wings, he wore a green, fish scale speedo attached to a golden belt with a seashell clasp. He also wore a set of bangles that were large enough to cover the entirety of his forearms. This was for the simple reason that he did not want people, particularly his warden, to see the wounds he'd received in his fight with Aleera. However, they were made of solid gold, and looked quite spectacular as the light glinted off of them.
"In the journal you spoke of the Earth and Sea rising against those who would destroy nature. This interests me. When I was alive, I did much to fight those who would destroy my seas."
