For the second time this week, Angelica found herself at the pub. It was a decidedly happier occasion though. Annie promised drinks and laughs, and that sounded just wonderful compared to...oh, about everything else that had happened in the past two weeks. She needed to spend more time with her in any case, even if a little cheering up hadn't been needed - which it was, as always.
She sat herself down at a table and waited, though she thought it might not hurt to start drinking before Annie arrived. She restrained herself instead, her chin in her hand as she waited.
