Sirrus had been leaving the library for last. Since his return to the Barge, he had been everywhere else except this place. Before, when he was an inmate, this place had been daunting to him. He enjoyed visiting, yes, but he was more inclined to just stare at it and look up books on the physical aspects of other worlds than actually utilize it for what it could really do.
He had his hands in his pockets as he walked inside, marveling at how the place had not changed in the time he was gone. He had been told so many times that it had been only days since he graduated, but the concept was still very strange to him.
Seeing Gellert there and not many others, Sirrus walked over to him. "Where is...the loudmouthed drunkard who used to be here?" Sirrus had missed quite a bit in both his absence and his transition to warden.
"I'm presuming you mean Bernard? He has departed, I'm afraid," Gellert said gravely, almost as if Bernard had died but then he brightened and gave Sirrus a broad smile. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
"A pity. He was rather amusing at times." When he wasn't being particularly obnoxious. Sirrus didn't have a relationship with him in any way, but he spent enough time in the library to know his mannerisms to a certain degree. Sirrus did feel a twinge of sadness that he was gone, however.
Just a twinge.
"I suppose so. If you are so willing to help. I need a book on volcanoes." It was one thing that was so unpredictable when he wrote his books...perhaps if he knew more about it, it would not be so elusive.
"Volcanoes...," Gellert repeated the word with a curious edge. "May I ask for what purpose? It seems an unusual thing to look for in such a place. Unless you're expecting the next port to include one," he chuckled then stood up and went to some shelves, inspecting the titles. "I think nature kinds of books are over here."
After a moment of looking and not finding, he shrugged and took his wand out, gave it a flick in the air and a couple of books flew toward him. He caught them and checked the titles. "Here you go," he held the books about volcanoes out to Sirrus.
Once she learned that the Barge had one, visiting said library quickly shot to the top of her priorities. She figured she should go now, while she had the free time. She didn't know how much of her time would be taken up later on.
Victoria walked quietly inside and scanned the labels on the aisles, trying to decide where to look first before finally just deciding to pick one at random. She walked over to a shelf and made to slide a book off... and ended up dropping it to the floor with a loud noise. She blushed and hastily made to pick it up, eyes darting around as she hoped that no one noticed. Or, if they did, hopefully they wouldn't care.
Gellert's eyes looked up from his book at the noise. He watched Victoria for a little while before he headed over to her. He gave her a smile as he said politely, "Do you need any help, fräulein?"
Victoria finally looked at the cover of the book she'd dropped. That combined with the blurb on the back didn't tell her much about it, so she hastily put it back in its place on the shelf as Gellert approached her.
"You wouldn't happen to have any recommendations, by any chance?"
Spike strolled in, scanning the shelves, an unlit cigarette tucked behind his ear he kept touching [neurotically]. He didn't know what in Hell's name he'd find here, but he had always taken comfort in the way books smelled.
Gellert raised his eyebrows, then he looked amused. "Demons... A very fascinating subject indeed." He glanced around, still rather unfamiliar with the library himself.
Again, he decided to be lazy - and neither Aziraphale nor Hix were around to tell him not to - so he pulled out his wand, flicked it toward the shelves and about six books came sailing through the air toward him. "Hmm, looks like we have a few..," he mused, catching the books and holding the pile out toward Spike.

"Looking for something in particular?" He questioned in a polite manner.

"Do you have anything on demons?" he asked after a beat, despite himself.
