Rube set his journal down and rested his forehead on his hand. This whole thing with Morgan was...complicated. There were a number of reasons he'd avoided this sort of relationship since his own death: meeting the parents was one of them. Morgan's father was intimidating, and everything you'd expect of a man confronting the person seeing his daughter, short of coming out and asking, "What are your intentions with my little girl?"
It didn't help that Rube was, in all fairness, older than Harry Adams.
It also didn't help that there was no clearly defined relationship between himself and Morgan.
He stopped that line of thinking and pulled the envelope out of his desk. The least he could do was help her with this, and show letter to her. The whole situation was cruel. Even death wasn't cruel like this.
