Rescuing them what need rescuing
Who: Una Persson, Bernard Black, Otto West
What: Bernard needs rescuing. Otto gets what's coming to him. Una finally gets to smack someone upside the head.
Where: Otto's cabin
When: Not long after Bernard gets tied up and skewered by his inmate and Otto is a dumbass.
Warnings: Otto's probably going to get pistol-whipped before this is all over. ETA: And he did.
Bernard hadn't answered the door when Una had stopped by to check on him, and no one appeared to have seen him for a while; that, combined with a little backtracking through various journal entries got Una's suspicions up. Once she sorted out which cabin was Otto's, she strapped on her shoulder holster, checked her Smith & Wesson, and made her way there.
(It occurred to her later that maybe she ought to have let security know about this, but under the circumstances, it wasn't clear that anyone else would have had the time anyway.)
She knocked on Otto's door. Hopefully the gun wouldn't end up being necessary, but its presence was reassuring. Even if it didn't do much against phantasms in mirrors.
