WHO: Hayley Stark (as Sam), Castiel (as Dean), Dean Winchester (as Castiel), and Sam Winchester (as Hayley) WHEN: Backdated to just after body swap WHAT: Awkwardness of body swapping WARNINGS: None yet?
Castiel, who had been in the room earlier to check on the boys but was actually thinking of leaving- since they had fallen asleep- suddenly found himself growing quite drowsy. His eyes, heavy with exhaustion, finally did close, though he forced them open only a second later.
...With Sam close to his face. He blinked and sat up straight, rubbing his face and crying out loudly as his arm flared white fire in pain.
Hayley found a mirror at last, as she crawled to her feet. She poked at her face and glared at herself, making a couple goofy expressions in the cliche way that anyone would check to see if it was really them inside an unfamiliar body. Well, this was ridiculous. Another flood, probably, but why she had ended up in Sam's body, of all people, was beyond her.
Snatching a 9mm from the dresser, she spun around and cocked it without hesitation. Yeah, she had some experience with handguns. And the girl was smart enough to guess that if she was Sam? Then someone else was Dean. Her free hand lifted to jam her palm against one closed eye, trying to suppress the headache.
"Who are you?" She groaned, obviously not in the mood to play around.
Castiel shuddered a bit as he took a deep breath, attempting to get rid of the pain. A quick glance down revealed that he didn't have his same body. No. This was not Jimmy. This was...Dean.
Panic entered his mind for a moment as he tried to figure out what had happened. Had he possessed Dean? No...Dean was not in his mind. In fact...there was nothing in his mind. Not Dean. Not Jimmy. Just...himself. What was going on?!
Unfortunately, he didn't have time to rationalize things as there was suddenly a gun pointed in his face. The question caught him by surprise and he blinked again.
Hayley stared at the sorta-Dean for a moment before lowering the gun, releasing the hammer but still holding onto it just in case. Even more than the headache intruding into her mind was the thirst that she felt. The intense thirst for.. "Blood? What the--"
She dropped to the ground then, leaning back against the bookcase as she tried to think through things as quickly as possible. Maybe it had to do with that Ruby chick Dean had told her a little bit about. Why else could she possibly be wanting to drink a demon's blood?
"It's Hayley, all right? Now why don't you tell me why I have a killer hangover and a rabid desire for demon blood?"
Castiel frowned and looked down to his arm. It continued to ache, even though it wasn't moving. Fascinating, though obnoxious. "Hayley? The...oh. I have no idea what's going on but...it seems that the Barge has done something to us. Changed bodies. Switched. Something. As for the cravings, that is something that...I cannot explain to you."
He still felt some kind of loyalty to Sam and he wasn't about to expose his secrets. "But since you are in Sam's body, you are...not going to leave." He couldn't risk that.
"But I do need to find your body." He tried to stand and winced. Pain!
Dean was maybe a little pissed off. More amused than anything else. He had woken up as a frigging angel and couldn't get Jimmy out of his head. But he wasn't about to wear the fag clothes that Cas did and moved into his room, oblivious to the scene unfolding until after he took his shirt off and started buttoning up his favorite plaid shirt.
He turned to see Sam with his gun. "Oh. Hell no." It sounded strange coming out of Castiel's mouth and he reached out to take it from her.
Hayley's automatic reaction was to jerk away, which she did at first, before quickly putting together that the Castiel before her was probably Dean. She clicked the safety on before throwing the gun on the bed, more content to let none of them have it given the present situation.
She ignored the fact that Cas looked better than she'd have thought an angel would.
"Dean?" Sam's voice came hesitant, obviously distressed. The Winchester quickly stood to face Dean and Castiel-- er, Castiel and Dean. Whatever. She wanted to make sure it was him before she demanded to understand the cravings she was having.
Castiel, still in Dean's body, glanced over to the gun when it was tossed towards the bed and, consequently, towards him. He reached over for it and released the magazine, palming that to keep it from Dean...himself. If they were going to fight over it like children, he was going to end it like the adult.
Dean just rolled his eyes and moved to take the gun away from Cas. "First off. I don't care WHO'S fucking body I'm in. You don't just go around acting like a man's weapons are yours." He gave them both a long glare. "Secondly. Because I know you Hayley... NO. You're not getting an explanation and you can just deal with that."
Dean finished buttoning up his shirt and then moved to run a hand through his hair.
Hayley adopted a somewhat crooked grin on Sam's lips, gearing up for all that sarcasm she was so good at. It was still Hayley, after all. "I'm thinking you tell me why exactly I'm craving demon blood, or I go wander around looking for Sam or Ruby to explain it to me instead."
She knew it was a dangerous line to walk, a dangerous thing to say. But hell, this couldn't last more than a few days. If they were going to punch her for it, Sam would be the one suffering.
Castiel stood up and walked over to Dean. He leaned over and whispered to him softly, gripping his arm with his good hand.
"Knock Hayley out, Dean. Two fingers against Hayley's forehead and will her simply to sleep. Nothing more than that. Sleep only. Doing anything to her will only harm your brother in the long run. And he has enough to worry about now."
Dean was tired of being the baby sitter for some misplaced, sarcastic little girl. With Castiel's advice he moved to clutch the collar of his brother's jacket and hold her close. "You know, all this time you made me out to be selfish inconsiderate asshole... when it's really you, princess." Dean then moved to put two fingers to her forehead.
Hayley took hold of Dean's hand on her collar, frowning at him. The girl was full of so many empty threats. Hell, it was why she had never actually killed someone; it was all about making them kill themselves. Because the truth of the matter was, she was pretty much a coward. And having Dean insult her for the wrong faults? Irked her.
"I wouldn't fucking do it, all right?" She retorted through clenched teeth. "I'm just sick of being left out of your little posse."
She didn't understand the two fingers and it never even occurred to her that angels might have some magic. Where she was from, supernatural things were myth. Magic and all that? Never even crossed her mind. Craving demon's blood was about as weird as it got.
Castiel tilted his head to the side as he watched that exchange. Pity welled up in him and he looked down to himself. What...emotions? Emotions came with the...oh yes. He was human now. His personality...maybe his soul...had been switched. He was human.
Dean's brows furrowed and he shifted uncomfortably. Not used to having this power and not really wanting to use it. With a long sigh he put the two fingers to Hayley's head.
Hayley frowned at Dean and his two fingers, a little confused and displeased that he had ignored her reply. The two really were a pair. Glancing from Dean--Castiel to Castiel--Dean, she tried not to over think the situation.
"I'm sorry. Let me stay here and talk to Sam. You guys go ahead. I promise I won't go anywhere." She held up two fingers with a small smile. "Scouts honor."

And he was not liking it.
"I think...I need a drink," he said softly.
