Namor had no intention of answering Morgan's journal entry. Clearly, she needed to calm down before any real discussion of his actions and his reasons for those actions could come about, if they had to be brought up in the future at all. In truth, he hadn't wanted to tell the security team, but he simply had no other way to find out who had shot her. He also couldn't leave this alone. After all, how could he impress Morgan if he could not fight for her? It wasn't as if though he could offer her Atlantis. Not now that he was dead.
Settling down in a chair, Namor opened '1000 Leagues Under the Sea' and began to read. Though the surface dweller who wrote it showed surprising ignorance, he felt like it was a good place to start with surface dweller literature and, if he was to start understanding surface dwellers, reading seemed as good a method as any.
