What: Prefect needs to stop dying already.
Prefect slid to the edge of the bed carefully. It had been just under a week since the riot had happened, and just under a week since he'd been killed. Once the paralysis had worn off he'd gotten to the infirmary, and for the last week he'd just lain there. After Sam got up and out the desire to do the same himself had reared up in Prefect, until it was now at least twice a day that he decided to get out of bed and go back to his room. So far, the endeavor had been less than successful.
Still, if he didn't keep trying then he'd never manage it.
So with a determined heave Prefect stood up, took three steps around the side of the bed and towards the door, and was struck with a sudden wave of merciless dizziness which made his head pound. Groping behind him, he caught hold of the edge of his bed, and lowered himself to the floor.
