Who: Libby, Ralphie, Elle, Peter, George, Claire, Harvey, Reid, Billy and anyone else who got invited, or anyone who happened to hear about it and wants to crash a five year old's idea of fun. c: Possibly unaffected wardens...
Where: Emily's room
When: A wee bit backdated to earlier in the flood, because I fail.
What: Party for flood-affected kids; balloons, streamers, coloring, cake and ice-cream (Elle & Peter, looking at you here) etc etc etc. BECAUSE IT'S BEEN TALKED ABOUT TOO MUCH NOT TO PLAY IT OUT.
[Emily was excited to be holding this party. She felt all grown up and responsible and everyone was going to have so much fun and she was so happy to be making new friends! Her room was already decorated with streamers, and she went outside into the corridor and grabbed some balloons that were tacked onto the wall and let them float about against her ceiling.
She also poured some cups of juice - spilling only a little - and set them out. Sitting down at the table, she picked up her markers and did some more coloring while she waited.]
