Hair tied back in a loose bun under her sunhat, sunglasses firmly shading her from the ridiculously hot sun, Lauren was as ready as she'd ever be for this port.
As much as the "amusement" part of the trip sounded like pure agony, she had to admit that the resort itself was quite nice. The views were gorgeous, and the hotel accommodations were much closer to her standards than the Barge was. Of course, from here - lounging around pool-side with a perfectly mixed martini was more Lauren's style. The chances of that, however, seemed highly unlikely.
"Did you plan out an itinerary, or are we simply 'winging' it?" Lauren inquired with a sigh, walking alongside Veronica through the entrance of the park, sarcasm evident in her tone since she'd woken a few hours earlier.
