Kurt hadn't considered his scars to mutilation at all, and so Baby's reply took him by surprise. He couldn't come up with a response, and decided to focus instead on teleporting the group to where they needed to go.
Or, at least... some of them.
"I'm afraid light-grabbing is not within my abilities," he said apologetically. Then he looked around the group. "So, that is two for teleporting, and two... ah, against." Better to put Rimmer in the 'against' category instead of singling him out as 'unable', he decided.
After a bit of contemplation over his decision, which Lilah helped somewhat by walking ahead, he said, "So, Lilah and Rimmer together, and I'll go ahead with Gabriel and Baby. We'll meet you two there, ja?"
He held out his hands to both Baby and Gabriel, and once accepted, he moved all three of them to the exit hatch. The feeling would be similar to a speeding car suddenly coming to a stop, or an elevator rush. Certainly disorienting with the potential to upset stomachs of those not used to the feeling. He hoped that wouldn't be the case here.

"And now we wait for the others."
