Shit Out of Luck
Once again my Dad is unlucky. This happens to be the main theme lately when it comes to cars. A few weeks ago my Dad's car broke down when he was driving Ryan home from his gymnastics class and the car overheated and the radiator blew. He took the car in to get the radiator replaced. He was supposed to get his car back last Tuesday and to have things back to normal. While his car was getting fixed, Mimi and Kevin let him borrow one of their cars that they used as a spare most of the time. So, my Dad has ben driving around in this little sports car for the past couple of weeks now until Mimi and Kevin can decide what to do Dad. He can't afford to buy a new or even a used car at this time. So, I'm hoping maybe Mimi and Kevin will be able to get him something.
Oh, so if this wasn't bad enough, I just spoke with my Dad a little while ago and he tells me that he is staying down in Illinois tonight because the little sports car is now also in the shop. Great... The good thinn though is that he wasn't driving the car at the time, Kevin was! I guess Kevin hit a huge pothole and it damaged the underbelly of the car. The car is so low to the ground though that I'm not surprised this happened and I knew it was only a matter of time. I guess it'll get worked on tomorrow in the shop. We will see what happens from there....
