Dead empty?

Has anyone noticed that there seems to be very little going on here? It's quite disturbing. Wasn't this place quite full of life before?

...by the way, can someone please explain all these papers scattered about the halls? They seem to suggest there was education occuring here. That hasn't occurred in months.
