Having a principal as a boss fight for a school would make sense, yes, but it seems very clichéd. But that might be what they want me to think, and this is all a set up to try to make me ignore what is right in front of me.

The boss-- or maybe there aren't any bosses. Perhaps there are some magical crystals around that force mutations into ordinary animals enlarging them so that the occupants of this place keep them as pets and help to gradually poison all of the characters until the cause is found and destroyed.

I don't think there are any bosses around here...and if you're referring to Galaba as some sort of mutation, he's not. He's naturally like this.
