Owl 015 - [Action]

May 26, 2009 17:32

[Look, there's Rinoa leaning on one of the bridges railings, and there's something obviously different about her. Her wings have gotten much larger, though they haven't changed much from their usual white color. The only real difference besides their size is their faint glowing.]

!action, spirits, hurdy the moogle, !event, white wings, rydia, squall

[And here's her Knight, hovering nearby. Looks like she's not the only one with new and improved wings - his are all in yellows and grays and blues. Storm colors.]

[She's just staring out into the distance, so feel free to say something anytime now boyfriend.]

[Give him a moment and he will.]

Looking at something?

Just the scenery. It's not so bad to look at every once in awhile.

[For that, she gets a slight smile.]

I guess it is.

[She'll be giving him a smile back.]

You know, there's a better way to see the scenery now.

[With that, she opens her wings. She had no idea how used to them Squall had gotten, but for her, it was no different from the wings she could manifest in their world.]

Have you gotten the hang of those wings yet?

...Not really.

[He's not really used to flying, after all.]

[Yeah, but she is.]

Want some help then?

...Sure.

[Well, obviously he's gotten the hovering down, so she'll be joining him at that first.]

What have you managed to figure out on your own so far?

Nothing past this. Not for flying anyway.

Okay, then first, try flapping them both at the same time to go higher. You know, push the air towards the ground.

[She flaps her wings gracefully once as an example, and goes higher.]

[There's a nod, and he tries on his own. It's ... not quite as graceful as her ascent, but it gets him there.]

[Well, he'll get used to it. She continues to give him directions and examples as she goes. Teaching him how to land, turn, go higher and glide, and even how to hover higher up in the air where the wind currents were much stronger.]

Think you've got it now?

[Or re-used to it, since he spent some time as Griever during on of the other experiments.]

Yeah.

Then shall we go flying together. It's bound to be a great view.
