Who: Kurt and Blaine
When: Late afternoon
Where: The village
What: Kurt and Blaine are hanging out when Blaine discovers Kurt’s secret…
Spring was out with such force that it was hard to believe that only a few weeks ago the entire village had been lost under snow. Now, instead of white as far as the eye could see there was green everywhere; grass growing tall and strong, trees thick with leaves, and flowers popping up all over the place. Above it all, the sun hung high in the sky, hot and heavy. Its heat would have easily been oppressive had it not been for the cool breeze that blew in from the lagoon. With it, the weather was absolutely perfect, making for the kind of afternoon that slipped away slowly, but still left too soon. It was definitely too nice a day to be inside.
Kurt hung upside-down from the swing set, his knees hooked around the bar the swings dangled from. Beside him, Blaine sat in the second swing, swinging lazily. “I really think classes are a good idea,” he told his friend. Taking hold of the bar, he flipped himself around so he was upright and facing in the right direction. He grabbed onto the chains of the swing and slid down onto the seat. “I am a little worried about falling behind myself,” he admitted. “I do not want to get to the Institute and not be able to keep up with all the other students.”
