French and the Future

Oct 23, 2006 21:28

Last night, I actually ended up going to Whiteford and watching The Sweetest Thing with Patty, Crystal, and Tyler, and it turned out to be one of the most randomest movies I have ever seen in my life. And gross, too. But it was a great end to a weekend.

Today sort of plodded by, but I survived well enough. I woke up later than usual, which was weird, but at least I didn't oversleep. I probably would have if Garrett didn't have PT so early in the morning. Went to math, boring as usual, sem had a new group presenting, and then I went to lunch with Amanda and Jen, which was interesting, as always. Then, of course, when they left, Claire and Don joined me as they came into Glar. Don is introducing the idea of getting a group of us to go to the carneval in Quebec for a weekend in February, so I think that would be interesting. Then, I went to French class, and my sentences were at least very interesting, LOL. After French, I decided to see my professor to talk about if I would be taking French in the future... and somehow, we ended up talking about my future plans in the next few years, in college and otherwise. It was a good talk, and it got me thinking about a lot at one time. But ultimately, I'm pretty sure that I am decided on a French minor, since I would be halfway there, credit-wise, by the end of this semester. Then, I checked my mail, only happy to see that I got a letter from my beloved K-Mac! It really made my day! Because then, after a couple of hours, I had to go to dinner and work. But, work wasn't all too bad; I love the things we do to crack each other up, even if Megan laughs at the poop facts.

Now I'm just chillin in my room... and I mean that in more than just one sense of the word. It's really cold up here in Westminster, and my dorm room is no exception. What happened to the heat? Who knows...

Well, it's time to get back to being productive in some way or another. Keep it realy everyone, and God bless.
