Lisa the librarian is so the new Jeeves!

So today I was at the library for over two hours. I walked away with nothing to show for it but a bag of books I bought at borders. Or so I thought. I was in the online card catalog trying to find all kinds of demographics for some research, when I noticed this little button that said "chat with a librarian." I giggled to myself because most people go out of their way to avoid chatting with librarians, then I clicked the button.
I asked my question, and said that I had no clue where to begin looking for this information. The reply back said "good question. You will have to give me a few minutes for that." So I turned on some ambient music and stared at all of the architectural wonder until I got a reply. A few minutes later she gave me the URL to appropriate census bureau webpages.
The rest of my time at the library was spent trying to check out a few materials that I considered to be pretty basic. Every time I tried to leave I was told that there were 5 or 6 holds on the materials I was trying to check out. 5 or 6 holds translates to 15-18 weeks. They definitely need to rethink this holding policy. So I left the library for borders to get what I needed.
I just got into my email hours later, only to find that Lisa the librarian had taken it upon herself to research my question more thoroughly. She just sent me three more links that she "thought would be more helpful." So essentially what just happened here folks was that I asked a question and was fortunate enough to have someone do most of the statistical research required for me to write my business plan! I was expecting this information to take several days to sort out, now all I have to do is make some flashy pie charts! Maybe I should send Lisa some flowers and chocolates.
