That black shape is quickly revealed to be Sasuke's knee as he tilts it upward again, dark eyes examining the screen. ] Use this? I'm just a guy in the same situation as you. Listen, kid, all of us here have been kidnapped into another planet by a group of people called the scientists. I know it's unbelievable, but that's how it is.

Tch... Someone else said something similar. Do you know their motivation for it?

There's no way to know for sure, but it's not too hard to figure it out once you give it some thought. It's most likely an experiment or something like that for them.

What could they hope to learn by limiting our powers? [ He doesn't really see how he could be of use beyond fighting, after all. ]

It's most likely a method to keep us under control. Or, perhaps, they wanted to see how certain people will deal with not having the abilities they usually have. Though in any case, everyone, even normal humans, have the chip that limits it placed inside of them. It's most likely to be just one of their many motivations.

Ah. Then this chip, it serves other purposes? It must if they give it to those without any fighting talent. They're monitoring us that way?

Oh. You're a pretty smart kid. Even in this situation, you know how to stay calm to a certain extent and think logically. In other words, you are correct.

Haven't people found a way to remove them by now? [ He looks calmer than he feels; having no ability to fight is in no way putting him at ease. ]

They have, actually. But you'll need to find a doctor to remove it. I still have mine, so it will probably take a while, however.

You haven't tried to find one of these doctors?

I have. It's proven to be surprisingly challenging. [ Although in his case he's not planning on getting his chip out yet but nobody needs to know that...... ]

Do you know anyone that's gotten theirs out already? Also, your name would be helpful.

[ ....sighs ] Man, I really should have gotten that guy's name. ...My apologies, I do not. And just call me Archer.
