I wish the Doctor would have told me more about this when he gave it to me... I can't figure out which part caused it to shrink.

[a pause to cough]Maaaaybe Gail and I should have been more careful ( Read more... )

Really? I would've liked to see that.

Got sick, huh?

It... exploded, when I tried to take it apart. The technology is different.

Hm... I guess I caught Luke's cough.

Oh... [disappointment!]

[laughs] Why am I not surprised that he went and got himself sick?

I'm still looking at the parts, though, so it's not a complete waste, right?

I'm not either-- but he really hasn't done anything lately that would make him sick. I'm kind of worried.

Well... maybe I could help figure some of it out...

Couldn't agree with you more.

So how'd you get stuck with Luke's cough, anyway?

I made dinner for him last night, so I probably caught it then.

You... made dinner for him?

lastofgardios March 7 2008, 04:41:06 UTC
Yeah. He was too sick to make any for himself, so I offered to do it.

I wouldn't trust him to cook even if he was well. I see. So, you're... close, huh?

He's gotten a little better at cooking-- and if he really doesn't like what he's made, he could always go out.

Huh? You're not?

reddenedjewel March 7 2008, 04:53:39 UTC
... that depends on who you ask and how you define close.

I wouldn't imagine you'd be as close with him, now that I think about it, but...

How would you define 'close' then?
